Extending the In Situ observational data collection

An important upgrade in the In Situ data archival has been recently accomplished:

  • A total of 2.964.273 bottle observations from the World Ocean Database (WOD) are now distributed on Copernicus Marine Service as part of the In Situ data products.
A bottle observation contains physical (T&S) and BGC parameters (such as oxigen, chlorophyll, nitrate. See the data collect report for more details.
  • A total of 13.163 CTD from 82 vessels from the World Ocean Database (WOD) are now distributed on Copernicus Marine Service as part of the In Situ data products.
CTDs observation contains physical (T&S) parameters. See the data collect report for more details.
  • A total of 3.829 CTD from the SeaDataCloud North Atlantic are now distributed on Copernicus Marine Service as part of the In Situ data products.See the data collect report for more details.
