Responsibles of the IBI region presented two recent works in different sessions:

  • On Thursday 11th April, within the session ESSI1.1 Informatics in Oceanography and Ocean Science, Fernando Manzano in behalf of Alejandro Gallardo and himself, presented NOSTROMO (New Operative System, Tools, and Resources for Ocean Monitoring and Observations) a new integrated solution to manage and control the whole In Situ TAC IBI region operative. | abstract |
  • On Friday 12th April, within the session OS4.11 Copernicus Marine Environment Monitoring Service (CMEMS) it was presented the internal project named IBISVAL (IBI Software for VALidation) a new tool to validate the time series against nearby stations, forecasting model and wave TAC satellites. | abstract |

The participation in the EGU aims to give prominence to In Situ TAC activities, to highlight that it is not only a data aggregator, but it also: adds value, it is improving their validation and assessment processes and quality control procedures, it is building trust in the community….
