More Arctic and Antarctic in situ data in the Copernicus marine service

The International Arctic Buoy Programme (IABP), a network of drifting buoys in the Arctic and Antarctic Oceans has been provided meteorological and oceanographic data for more than 20 years. This past and near real time data is now available through the Copernicus Marine Service in the in situ Arctic: INSITU_ARC_PHYBGCWAV_DISCRETE_MYNRT_013_031 and the in situ global (Arctic and Antarctic): INSITU_GLO_PHYBGCWAV_DISCRETE_MYNRT_013_030 products.

This corresponds to 91 platforms with a temporal coverage: 20/08/2001 to present time (continuous harvest of data). Parameters are mainly sea surface temperature and air pressure.
