The more,the merrier!: EU HFR node, In Situ TAC and EMODnet joint efforts towards European HF Radar integration

This week the European High Frequency Radar Node (The EU HFR Node), EMODnet physics and the Copernicus Marine Service (CMEMS) In Situ TAC have formalized a joint effort toward the integration and distribution of the standardized and quality controlled HFR data produced by the former thourgh its Data Portals. Find here more details.

The EU HFR Node is now managing data from 12 HFR networks (built of 35 radar sites, representing more than 2/5 of the European Network). By the end of 2020, it is expected to gather 20 networks (50 radar sites). See in the below map their progress:
